The first question you have to answer is: "What are my goals with crypto?"
- LONG TERM INVESTING
This objective involves holding your coins for years and letting them grow within your portfolio while regularly investing more each month. This is refered to as "Buying and Holding (HODL)" One common strategy in this method is called "Buying the Dips", which involved waiting until corrections to invest more.
- DAY TRADING / SPECULATION
The speculator is not considered an investor, but a trader. One who enjoys jumping in and out for capital gain. Speculators or traders are interested in quick profits and use advanced trading techniques like shorting stocks, trading on the margin, options, and other special methods. Speculators have no real attachment to the companies they trade, and they may not know much about the coin except that it's price is volatile and ripe for a quick profit.
- CURIOSITY
The curious investor is a person that is not sure if they want to get involved in the crypto market and just wants to try it because they haee heard from the news or a friend about it and they are interested in putting a little money in "to se what happens".
